Website data
Privacy & website analytics
We measure how visitors find this website, which pages and features they explore, and whether actions such as beta activation succeed.
What is recorded
Website analytics can include page paths, campaign labels and referring website domains, configured button and feature-tab clicks, section exposure, foreground-visible time and a recent-interaction time estimate. These estimates do not prove that someone read or understood the content.
A random first-party identifier in session storage connects activity within the current browser tab. It expires after 30 minutes without collection activity, with a 24-hour maximum, and is not a browser fingerprint. We do not put analytics identifiers in URLs or use tracking cookies. Browser privacy restrictions may limit continuity.
PhotoBlend downloads
Public downloads do not require an account. When optional analytics is enabled, a short-lived signed visit context can connect a download response to the current website visit without putting your sign-in token or analytics session proof in the download URL. This context does not authorize downloads. Download responses are not proof of a completed download, installation or use. Public downloads continue when analytics is off or unavailable.
Optional PhotoBlend version statistics
PhotoBlend offers a separate Share version statistics preference, off by default. For opted-in guest version checks, the addon sends its random installation ID, Blender/PhotoBlend versions, platform and Python compatibility version. The server stores a keyed hash of the ID plus first and last successful check timestamps in the separate telemetry database. It does not store a computer name, account identity, email, project content or editing duration in those rows. Existing signed-in connection records are separate. A stable random ID is pseudonymous, not proof of a unique person.
Updates remain available when statistics is disabled or unavailable. Collection is rate-limited and defaults to at most 1,000 reports a day. Inactive profiles older than 90 days are pruned in bounded batches when statistics traffic arrives; dormant-site cleanup is not scheduled. Raw IPs are not stored; short-lived keyed request buckets are used for abuse limits.
When you sign in
A HasaMisa account provides PhotoBlend account tools, profile management and optional automatic updates. Enable automatic updating separately in Blender; it is off by default. Public downloads, manual updates and stability fixes are available without an account. Creating an account or downloading PhotoBlend does not subscribe you to email news or announcements about other add-ons.
After the server verifies your login, activity from that current anonymous analytics visit can be linked to your HasaMisa account ID. Signed-in activity can then be associated with that account. We store these links in a separate analytics database; analytics does not modify your account profile or copy your email into event records.
We separately record server-confirmed beta activation, accepted contact submissions and authorized download requests. A download request is not proof that the file finished downloading, was installed or was used.
What is excluded
Analytics does not record passwords, form contents, private project files, artwork, mouse-coordinate recordings, raw visitor IP addresses, full referring URLs or arbitrary query strings. Only configured campaign fields are accepted. Automated traffic labels are estimates or self-identification, not guaranteed human detection.
Storage and access
Analytics is stored in a separate Cloudflare D1 database. There is no public analytics dashboard or reporting API. The owner views private Cloudflare data or a locally opened export. Events are kept on a rolling 30-day basis, with cleanup performed when collection runs; visit-link records may remain for up to one additional day. Account records have their own lifecycle.
Your choice
The tracker honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. You can also switch optional analytics off for this browser. When signed in, that choice is recorded for your account in the separate analytics database.
