Install. Connect. Start editing.

PhotoBlend 1.2 Beta 18 · Windows x64 · Blender 5.2. Free beta version. A verified Google account and beta activation are required before download.

First installation

  1. Use Blender 5.2 on 64-bit Windows. This compiled package is not intended for Blender 4.x, other Blender branches, macOS or Linux.
  2. Sign in to HasaMisa and activate the free beta. Use your verified Google account, then choose Activate free beta. Download the installer from the activated beta page and keep it zipped.
  3. Open Blender Preferences. In Get Extensions, open the menu and choose Install from Disk. Select the PhotoBlend ZIP and enable it if prompted.
  4. Enable Blender's Allow Online Access setting. Open an Image Editor and the sidebar (N), then select the PhotoBlend tab.
  5. Choose Sign in to HasaMisa. Complete Google sign-in in your browser. PhotoBlend connects automatically; the browser returns to your account page with a small confirmation.
  6. Return to Blender. Create a document, open an image/PSD, or import a Render/Viewer source from the welcome panel.

If automatic connection cannot finish, choose Use Manual Approval Code in PhotoBlend and approve the matching code on HasaMisa. Passwords are not entered inside Blender.

Updating an existing installation

  1. Save your Blender project and any images you are editing.
  2. Close all Blender windows, then reopen Blender before installing the newer ZIP. Windows can keep old compiled addon files loaded until Blender exits.
  3. Use Install from Disk to install the new PhotoBlend ZIP over the existing extension. Keep one enabled PhotoBlend installation.
  4. Restart Blender after installation and check the version in Preferences. Use the release notes to confirm the current build.

Install beta 18 manually once if you are upgrading from beta 17 or an unsigned preview. In beta 18, PhotoBlend checks for updates in the background and provides Check for Updates, download and Install & Restart controls. Installation requires your confirmation and all Blender processes to exit. Save your work first. The activated beta page remains available for manual downloads and temporary repair codes if addon sign-in is broken.

Sign-in and offline access

Your HasaMisa account stays signed in between Blender sessions. PhotoBlend checks its connection daily while online. After a successful verification, offline access lasts up to seven days, bounded by session expiry. A known revoked session requires reconnection.

PhotoBlend editing and export lock when access expires. Reconnect online or sign in again to continue. Account controls stay accessible, and Blender's own project saving and rendering remain available.

Connection records include the installation identifier, addon/Blender versions and latest contact. Artwork and project files are not uploaded by account verification. Manage your profile and view connections on your HasaMisa account page.

Common problems

Access denied, relocated directory or old code after reinstalling

Save your work, close every Blender window and reopen Blender before reinstalling. Windows may still have the previous native files loaded. Restart again after the new installation.

The addon does not appear, or a binary cannot load

Confirm Windows x64 and Blender 5.2, install the runtime ZIP rather than the source/build ZIP, and check that PhotoBlend is enabled. Report the full error text if it still fails.

Browser sign-in opens, but PhotoBlend does not connect

Keep Blender open while signing in. Enable Allow Online Access and retry from PhotoBlend. If the automatic callback is blocked, use the manual approval-code fallback. A code that expired or was already used needs a fresh sign-in attempt.

Editing is locked even though I previously signed in

Your verification window may have expired, or the session may have ended. Reconnect online and choose Verify or Sign in / Reconnect in the HasaMisa Account panel.

A Render Result slot appears empty

Finish a render in that slot first, then choose it in Render / Viewer Sources. A Viewer source needs an evaluated compositor result. If the result still differs from Blender's display, report the selected slot, view layer and pass.

A PSD looks different from the source editor

PSD support is still evolving. Some features use rendered fallbacks and exact effect matching varies. Keep the original PSD and read the known limitations.
